If you've decided to see Abu Simbel and Philae, the hard part is the driving Aswan sits about four and a half hours from the Red Sea, and Abu Simbel is another three hours south. Thrones Travel handles all of it: a private, air-conditioned transfer from your hotel to Aswan, and on to Abu Simbel, on a schedule you set. At each destination your driver drops you and collects you, so you move at your own pace. The destinations we drive you to include the High Dam, the Temple of Philae on Agilkia Island, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the great temples of Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari at Abu Simbel. We also run private Luxor–Aswan transfers in both directions, and collect from Cairo, the train station, or the airport on request. Thrones Travel provides private transportation only.
