Panoramica
Sharm El Loli — known to marine biologists as Ras Hankorab — sits inside Wadi El Gemal National Park, a protected coastline of white-sand beaches and uncrowded reef. Qulaan, fifteen minutes south, is one of the few mangrove ecosystems in the Egyptian Red Sea. This is a slow, restorative day: snorkel in the morning where reef meets sandy shallows, cross to Qulaan for an unhurried Bedouin lunch at the lagoon edge, then swim, walk the sand or read in the shade of the mangroves.
